April 4, 2007--Suit says conservancy board met in private (Albuquerque Journal)
A conservancy district official claims the middle Rio Grande Conservancy District Board violated the state Open Meetings Act by holding meetings before regularly scheduled meetings. Board member Bill Turner is taking five fellow board members to court, saying they violated the act on numerous occasions over the past several years.
