May 26, 2014--San Juan Mountains Association serving up fun this summer (Durango Herald)

This will be SJMA’s third year offering the Forests to Faucets: My Water Comes from the San Juan Mountains teacher workshop, taking place June 26-27. This workshop is a partnership with Mountain Studies Institute in Silverton and the Water Information Program in Durango.


June 26-27th Forests-to-Faucets Teacher Training Workshop a Success!

Last year the Water Information Program (WIP) cosponsored with the Mountain Studies Institute and the San Juan Mountains Association a pilot Forests-to-Faucets Teacher Training Workshop in the Durango/Silverton area. It was very successful and well received.


Gunnison River Canoe Tour and Benefit (Delta, CO)

The Annual San Juan Mountains Association benefit will be conducted August 23-25, 2013 with a fun-filled and information canoe trip down the Gunnison River through the Dominquez Canyon Wilderness Area near Delta, CO.
