June 14, 2007--Arkansas Basin roundtable face tough choices on water use (Pueblo Chieftain)
Finding the complicated balance between water users and the environment took center stage during the Arkansas Basin Roundtable meeting. River basin representatives face a tough task as they are being asked to prioritize water needs for the basin. The roundtable members also will decide if they will call in the assistance of contractor teams of experts to help establish priorities and decide whether the issues will be delegated to a steering committee or hashed out among the entire 50-member roundtable.
