May 10, 2007--Recreational water on hold (Durango Herald)
The City of Durango will have to wait for its day in court. Its May court date in Colorado water court over its application for a recreational in-channel diversion has been postponed until January 2008...The Southwest Water Conservation District has requested a continuance because they wanted more time for negotiations...There is going to be a mediation session between the City and the objectors this summer that could bring resolution before trial.
