Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal says he hopes the U.S. Supreme Court will dismiss Montana's claim that it's not getting enough water from two rivers that flow north across the state line. U.S. Solicitor General Paul D. Clement this week recommended the Supreme Court allow Montana to proceed with a lawsuit claiming that Wyoming uses too much water from the Tongue and Powder Rivers. Montana says some of its residents with senior water rights on the rivers haven't received their full share in recent dry years.
