February 7, 2008--State workshop will look at protecting streams (Summit Daily News)
State efforts to protect stream environments will be discussed during a Feb. 13 of the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB). An instream flow and natural lake level workshop will be the venue for recommending new streams that could be added to the program in coming years. The CWCB’s instream flow program acquires water rights in streams to protect the environment “to a reasonable degree.”
