May 22, 2008--CSU's water institute gets more money, broader mission (Coloradoan)

State lawmakers have broadened the scope of a longtime water-research arm of CSU, shortened its name, provided it with an extra $500,000 and charged it with new responsibilities to investigate climate change and pine bark beetles. Gov. Bill Ritter on Wednesday signed the law directing additional state money to the Colorado Water Institute, which received a new name as part of bill passed earlier this year.
