May 29, 2008--PAWSD pursues two fee options (Pagosa Springs Sun)

The PAWSD staff presented three possible alternatives to its current water resource fee policy. The first would create an amortization plan for all consumers, allowing them to pay the fee over time, including interest. The second would establish a tiered rate, depending on the number of necessary EUs, and the third would eliminate the AWWA equivalent unit worksheet and consider meter size in establishing fees.
