June 6, 2008--Alamosa zeros in on contamination sources (The Pueblo Chieftain)

The city is moving ahead with a program designed to prevent any cross-contamination of its water supply in restaurants and food preparation sites, while costs from the salmonella epidemic continue to trickle in. City Manager Nathan Cherpeski said Wednesday the city may never know the contamination point for the salmonella outbreak that initially spread through the municipal water supply before sickening more than 400 people in March and April.
