June 11, 2008--Pipeline complete for San Juan - Chama water project (Denver Post)
Workers have completed the final segment of underground pipeline for the San Juan-Chama drinking water project, the future water source for New Mexico's largest city. The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority announced Tuesday that the project reached a major milestone in May when it completed the last section of 38 miles of pipeline. Water delivery to homes and businesses is expected later this year or in early 2009.
