July 1, 2008--Oil, gas wells could harm Brush water (Fort Morgan Times)

Oil and natural gas wells were identified as the greatest threat to the Brush source water protection area during a public meeting Monday at Brush City Hall. Although all oil and natural gas wells in the area should be monitored, Colleen Williams of the Colorado Rural Water Association said only four producing wells lie within the protection area boundaries.
