July 16, 2008--Water board gearing up for new industrial park (Pueblo Chieftain)
The Pueblo Board of Water Works will spearhead a $5 million project designed to bring water to a new industrial park south of Pueblo. The 4,700-acre development still faces zoning and annexation processes, said Keith Swerdfeger, interim president of the Pueblo Economic Development Corp. ‘This will open the door for an opportunity to get heavy industrial operations into Pueblo,’ Swerdfeger told the water board Tuesday.
