July 24, 2008--Pueblo, Crowley counties on drought-stricken list (Pueblo Chieftain)

Pueblo and Crowley counties have been added to the Colorado counties plagued enough by drought to warrant emergency status. The United States Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency said this week that the two counties have been granted emergency grazing on land that had been protected by the Conservation Reserve Program.
