August 6, 2008--Ramsey takes over as GARNA director (Salida Mountain Mail)
Alison Ramsey is the new executive director of Greater Arkansas River Nature Association, succeeding Kathryn Wadsworth, the first director, who held the job 10 years. "GARNA is a cooperating association because we are a non-profit organization, working with natural resource agencies."(They include) U.S. Forest Services, Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area, Bureau of Land Management and Colorado Division of Wildlife. The association promotes awareness of natural, environmental and cultural resources of the area," Ramsey said.
