August 21, 2008--Water district continues funding river study (La Junta Tribune Democrat)
The Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District voted to continue funding Tim Gates from Colorado State University to perform studies in the Arkansas River Valley. Gates asked for $40,000 and received approval from the board to continue his studies on improving water recovery in the Arkansas River.
