August 22, 2008--COGCC talks yield 50 rule changes (Sterling Journal Advocate)

The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) deliberated for nearly 12 hours this week and gave initial approval on changes to 50 of the rules governing oil and gas development in Colorado. These include Rule 1002.f, which will require operators to utilize best management practices to control stormwater runoff from well pads.
