September 16, 2008--Search continues for border officials' plane (Denver Post)
Mexican and U.S. authorities were searching Tuesday for a small plane that disappeared while carrying the U.S. and Mexican heads of the International Boundary and Water Commission. The plane carried U.S. commissioner Carlos Marin and his Mexican counterpart, Arturo Herrera. Jake Brisbin Jr., executive director of the Rio Grande Council of Governments, also was on the plane along with a pilot, according to Presidio County Judge Jerry Agen.
