Southwestern Water Conservation District Annual Seminar Materials Now Available
The Southwestern Water Conservation District’s 27th Annual
Water Seminar was held in Durango April 3, 2009. The theme of the
seminar was “A Common Thread” and the list of diverse speakers spoke
about the larger picture of water issues in the West. The event was
attended by approximately 150 people.

The
keynote speaker was our own Fred Kroeger, who was honored for his 55
years of service on the Board. Fred received letters from Senators
Udall and Bennet and a proclamation from Governor Ritter, naming April 3rdas Fred Kroeger Day.
