Genualdi New Assistant Division Engineer

The Colorado Division of Water Resources has hired Robert Genualdi as the new Assistant Division Engineer for the Dolores/San Juan River Basin, Durango Office. The Division is responsible for administering water rights, groundwater well permitting, hydrography, and dam safety in the Basin. Genualdi is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years experience in engineering and water resources. He is a graduate of Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University. For the last nine years he worked for the State of New Mexico as the District Engineer in Aztec working in water resource administration. Previous experience includes Project Engineer in charge of special projects for the Central Arizona Project that included dam safety and groundwater recharge development. His experience also includes operating and maintaining a network of stream gages in the Colorado River Basin for the United States Geological Survey. Robert and his family live in La Plata County where he is active in the community coaching Durango youth baseball and soccer. The Colorado Division of Water Resources is fortunate to have such a well versed new addition to their staff. Welcome Robert!
