Law Retires

Dan Law, executive director of the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority, retired at the end of January. The Authority finances municipal water and wastewater infrastructure for governmental agencies around Colorado. Dan worked for the Authority for 25 years, the last 20 years as executive director. Dan oversaw the execution of nearly 400 loans representing over $1.7 billion in projects. In the Durango area, Dan has been involved with the Animas-La Plata Project for nearly 25 years and the Long Hollow Dam and Reservoir Project for the last 7 years. In retirement, Dan works as a consultant to help the new executive director, Mike Brod, get these projects completed and operating in the next two years.
