October 25, 2007--Few Archuleta County properties affected by proposed water district (Pagos Springs Sun)
Ground could be broken on projects proposed by proponents of the new water district in about two years, said Dick Lunceford, chairman of the Citizens Task Force for the La Plata Archuleta Water District Plan. While the La Plata County Commissioners approved the plan early last week, the Archuleta County Commissioners have not yet cast their votes. The plan also requires district court approval and the three-year-old concept then “has to go to the voters,” Lunceford said.
