It’s already tax season, and while you may not enjoy sending in your income taxes, you can feel good about where some of your money or tax refund is going by participating in the Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund Tax Check-Off Program.

September 9, 2009--Coal Creek Watershed receives two grants (Crested Butte News)

The Coal Creek Watershed Coalition (CCWC) recently received $33,006 from two sources to further their work within the Coal Creek Watershed. The Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund awarded $10,756 to the CCWC to fund four programs. The CCWC was also awarded $22,250 by the Colorado Water Conservation Board to complete a riparian assessment in the watershed.

Please check-off a donation to the Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund on your Colorado 2008 income tax return. The Healthy Rivers Fund is totally funded by the tax check off option and is used for restoration projects around the state.
