New Educational Materials Available

The 20+WIP educational brochures continue to be re-designed and updated. Three: (a) Water Information Program, (b) Southwestern Water Conservation District, and (c) Water Conservation and Conservancy Districts were finished in 2007. Saving Water Indoors, Saving Water Outdoors, and San Juan Xeriscape were complete in 2008. This year, Livestock Tanks and Gravel Pits, Methane and Waterwells, Rainwater Harvesting, and Small-Scale Hydro were developed and/or redeveloped. In addition, the WIP continues to add to their lending library. New materials include: Blue Gold, House of Rain, Unquenchable, Watersheds, Whose Water is it?, The Milagro Beanfield War, When the Rivers Run Dry, Liquid Assets, Pillar of Sand, Cadillac Desert, Tapped Out, Thirst, Water in the 21st Century West, and Handbook of Water Use and Conservation. Films include: A Sense of Wonder; Don’t Move a Mussel; Gimme Green; Liquid Assets; Poisoned Waters; Running Dry; and The American Southwest: Are we running dry?
